What is the Harvia Fenix sauna control?
The Harvia Fenix is a sauna control with a 4.3-inch glass touchscreen panel and Wi-Fi, for Harvia electric heaters that have no controls of their own. Topture sells four models: the FX30 and FX45 (FX30-U1-U3-XC, FX45-U1-U3-XC) for Virta, Virta Pro, Cilindro Half, Spirit and Club heaters, and the FX30C Combi for Virta Combi heaters, in a 240 V single-phase (FX30C-U1-XC) and a 208 V three-phase (FX30C-U3-XC) version. Each comes with a power unit, a data cable and a heater sensor; the FX30C adds a humidity sensor.
The temperature can be set on the Fenix from 104 to 194°F (40–90°C). Its Wi-Fi gives monitoring in Harvia's MyHarvia app: the heater's status, the sauna temperature and the remaining heating time. Harvia says the Fenix interface learns the heater's performance, and it offers three presets, Mild, Cozy and Hot. The FX30 and FX45 share their ratings with the Harvia Xenio CX30 and CX45; the difference is the glass touchscreen panel.
Which Harvia heaters does each Fenix model run?
The Harvia Fenix models run the Harvia heaters below. "Two supply circuits" means the heater is wired to the power unit as two groups, two separate supply circuits, as the heater's manual shows.

The Harvia LTY45 power extension (sold separately) works with the FX30 and FX45, and the Virta Pro 20 kW always needs it; the FX30C needs no power extension for any Virta Combi. Harvia's KIP heaters with separate control run from the Harvia Xenio CX170, not the Fenix.
Where does each part of the Fenix go?
The Fenix power unit goes on a wall outside the sauna room, in a dry place above 32°F (0°C); it must not be recessed into the wall. The glass panel can be surface- or flush-mounted, inside the sauna room or in a bathroom or living area. The heater sensor goes where the heater's manual shows. Harvia's manual says only an authorized, professional electrician may make the electrical connections. Your licensed electrician sizes the breaker and wire from the manual that ships with the heater and your local code. Harvia's installation manual, under Documents, gives the exact wiring and sensor positions.
