Topture’s barrel range at compact capacity, lowest price first. Exterior dimensions; realistic seating is Topture’s own read, not the manufacturer’s marketing number.

| SunRay Solace 200SH | 72″ × 49″ | 76″ | Red Cedar | 2 adults upright | $4,790 |

| True North 6′ | 89″ × 74″ | 91″ | Pine or Cedar | 2–4 seated | $8,483 |
Topture’s compact barrel range runs from the SunRay Solace at 72″ × 49″ in Red Cedar for $4,790 up to the True North 6′ at 89″ × 74″ for $8,483. The Solace is the only model here sold specifically as a two-person barrel; everything above it is a 2–4 person build that two people can use comfortably with room to spare.
A barrel sauna spends its footprint differently from a square cabin. The curved wall encloses less upper air volume than a square cabin of similar outside dimensions, though actual heat-up time still depends on heater output, glazing, insulation and the outside temperature.
The trade is shoulder and floor space. A barrel of the same outside width gives you less usable floor than a cube, because the walls curve away below the bench. That matters more as capacity rises and barely at all with two people sitting opposite each other.
Barrels sit on cradles rather than needing a full slab, which is the practical site advantage of the shape. If straight walls and a flat floor matter more, compare Topture’s outdoor cube saunas.
Two adults sitting upright, facing each other, on opposing benches. That is what the compact barrels in Topture’s range genuinely seat, and it is worth being clear about because manufacturer capacity labels in this category are optimistic.
The SunRay Solace at 72″ × 49″ is the honest two-person barrel. The Aurora, Oasis, Serenity and True North models are all sold as 2–4 person: two people get generous room, four is only realistic if nobody minds sitting close.
Barrel length decides whether anyone can lie down. At 49″ deep the Solace is a sitting-only sauna. The True North 6′ at 74″ deep gives one person a full-length bench.
A barrel sauna needs its cradles level and well drained, not a full concrete slab. That is the main site advantage of the shape and it makes barrels the more forgiving option on an imperfect yard.
For the full site-prep sequence, read Topture’s outdoor sauna buyer’s guide. If the barrel-versus-square decision is still open, the barrel vs square sauna comparison covers how the shapes differ in use.
Topture stocks compact barrels from three manufacturers, and the choice comes down to wood and build rather than features.
SunRay covers the accessible end with the Solace, Aurora and Oasis, all in Red Cedar. The Oasis adds a covered canopy porch, which is the practical difference if you want somewhere to cool down out of the weather. Browse the SunRay sauna range.
True North handbuilds in Ontario and offers Pine, White Cedar or Red Cedar depending on how you spec the barrel. The Schooner and the 6′ both start as two-person-capable rooms and scale up. See the True North collection.
Dundalk Leisurecraft builds the Serenity MP in Eastern White Cedar, the widest compact barrel Topture carries at 84″ × 95″. Browse the Dundalk lineup.
A barrel sauna kit from Topture arrives as pre-cut staves, cradles, benches, door, and the heater where the model includes one. Assembly is a two-person job over a day rather than a weekend, and the staves interlock without framing or cutting.
What is not included: the prepared base, the electrical work, and roofing upgrades where they are offered as options. Delivery is curbside on a liftgate truck for most saunas, fully insured in transit, so plan how the crate travels from the kerb to the yard. SaunaLife models ship at a flat freight rate rather than free.
Heater requirements vary by model rather than by capacity, so use the individual product page for the electrical spec. Always consult a licensed electrician — requirements vary by local code and jurisdiction. For the heater decision itself, compare 2 person traditional saunas.
Two models in this collection are sold at larger capacities and belong in the size-up conversation rather than the two-person comparison: the SaunaLife E6 is a 3-person ergonomic barrel at $4,390, and the SunRay Galley 400SH is a 4-person barrel at $5,890.
If either is closer to what you need, compare 3 person barrel saunas or 4 person barrel saunas. For every barrel Topture carries at any size, see outdoor barrel saunas.
Topture sells barrels across three manufacturers, so the conversation can start with your yard rather than one brand’s catalogue.
