Which box do you need?

All three SaunaLife SaunaGear enclosures are UV-stabilized polycarbonate, IP67 rated, with a continuous door gasket, stainless steel latches, and an internal mounting panel plus mounting feet in the box. They differ in size and in what they are made to hold:

• SaunaGear 300 – Control Panel Enclosure (7.3" x 5.3" x 3.4") — the small one with a clear hinged door. It houses your sauna's operating control panel outdoors, so you can read and reach the control without opening the box. 3 lbs.
• SaunaGear 301 – Equipment Enclosure (15.8" W x 24.1" H x 7.1" D) — the standard size with an opaque door. It holds the electrical equipment that must live outside the hot room, such as a heater contactor box, wiring connections, or the power supply of an outdoor LED lighting kit. 12 lbs.
• SaunaGear 302 – Equipment Enclosure XL (20.9" W x 29.2" H x 7.3" D) — the same enclosure as the 301, about 5" wider and 5" taller. Choose it when you are mounting more than one component, or when your contactor box plus wiring clearances will not fit the 301 comfortably. 20 lbs.

Rule of thumb: measure the unit you need to protect, add room for cable entry and bends, and pick the smallest box that still leaves that margin.
