What size is a 4 person barrel sauna?

A 4 person barrel sauna is an outdoor barrel rated for four adults, and the room for four comes from the barrel's length and diameter. SaunaLife's E7 is 71 inches long and its glass-front EE6G a shorter 63 inches on a wider barrel, SunRay's Galley is 6 feet deep, and Dundalk LeisureCraft's Harmony is 79 inches long.

SaunaLife rates the E7 and the EE6G for up to four bathers and SunRay sells the Galley as a 4-person barrel. Several barrels at Topture that seat four are rated for more: Dundalk LeisureCraft gives the Serenity and the Serenity MP seating for three to five and the Tranquility and the Tranquility MP four to six, and Topture lists True North's 8-foot barrel for four to six.

SunRay's Aurora, Oasis and Galley each come with a 6 kW Harvia electric heater and stones, so a SunRay barrel spares you the heater decision. The SaunaLife, Dundalk LeisureCraft and True North barrels are sold with heater packages, one marked Recommended on each product page, a HUUM DROP of 6, 7.5 or 9 kW.

For wood-burning heat, choose a Dundalk LeisureCraft or True North barrel: each also offers a Harvia M3 wood-burning stove kit, and the Tranquility and Tranquility MP a HUUM HIVE Wood 13 kW package, while the SaunaLife E7 and EE6G are offered with electric heaters only. SunRay lists its barrels for a dedicated 220–240 V circuit, and HUUM's UKU control manual calls for a dedicated circuit for the DROP.
