An 8 person barrel sauna at Topture is a long True North barrel listed for up to eight people. At this size you're looking at overall lengths of 9 to 10 feet. True North publishes no seat ratings for its barrels, so the capacity is the range in each product's name: 6 to 8 for the 9-foot barrel, 8 for the 10-foot barrel and 2 to 8 for the Schooner, which comes in 6-, 8-, 9- and 10-foot lengths.

If an 8 person barrel sauna will seat eight every time, start with the 10-foot barrel; if eight is an occasional peak, the 9-foot barrel is the shorter fit.

The 8-person barrels in this collection all come from True North; the longest Dundalk LeisureCraft barrels at Topture, the Tranquility and the Tranquility MP, seat four to six.

Topture lists the True North Sauna 8 Person 10' Long Barrel Sauna and the True North Sauna 6-8 Person 9' Long Barrel Sauna with or without a 2-foot porch, which shortens the interior, and the True North Schooner 2-8 Person Outdoor Barrel Sauna with or without a porch at each length. Choose a porch version if you want a sheltered spot to cool down between rounds and to leave robes, towels and footwear.

White or red cedar for an 8 person barrel sauna

Every True North barrel in this collection is offered in two wood options, White Cedar and Red Cedar, and the Red Cedar version of each costs more at Topture. True North builds its barrel walls at least 1.5 inches thick in either wood.

Heater packages for an 8 person barrel sauna

None of the three 8 person barrels comes with a heater in its price: the heater is added on the product page, where a 7.5 kW HUUM DROP package is marked Recommended and a Harvia KIP 8 kW package or a Harvia M3 wood-burning stove kit can be chosen instead.
