This page explains how topture.com uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies ("cookies"), and how you can control them. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that send information about your visit to us or to the company that provides them. Some are set by us (first-party); others are set by the services we use (third-party).

Your Choices

  • Cookie banner (California and other regions where we show it): analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them. If you decline, only the strictly necessary and functional cookies listed below are used. To change your choice, clear the cookies for topture.com in your browser and the banner will appear again.
  • Elsewhere in the United States: analytics and advertising cookies load when you visit. You can block or delete them in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
  • Opting out of the sale or sharing of your information: you can do this on our Do Not Sell or Share page, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser (globalprivacycontrol.org). Shopify records your choice and stops the Meta and Pinterest advertising pixels in that browser. The other technologies below keep running unless you decline them in a cookie banner or block them in your browser.
  • Google: manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Industry opt-out tools: the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email from us.

Declining or blocking non-essential cookies does not stop you from browsing or buying.

The Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

  • Shopify: cart, checkout, account login, currency and country, fraud prevention, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off without breaking the store.

Functional

  • Crisp: keeps your live-chat conversation open as you move between pages.
  • Judge.me: shows product reviews and lets you write one.
  • Truemed: shows the HSA/FSA payment option.
  • Sentry: reports technical errors (such as a script that failed to load) with details of your browser and device, so we can fix them. Sentry does not record your session.

Analytics

  • Google Analytics (GA4): how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular and where visitors leave.
  • Our own first-party analytics: a system we run on our own domain to understand which marketing brought you to the site and how you move through it. It stores a randomly generated visitor identifier, kept for up to 24 months; advertising click identifiers (such as Google's GCLID) and campaign tags (UTM parameters), kept for up to 90 days; and pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth and cart activity. If you buy, this information is linked to your order, and a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address may be sent to Google to measure our advertising. We do not sell this data.
  • Zigpoll: short on-site surveys and your answers.

Advertising and Marketing

  • Google Ads: conversion tracking, and remarketing on Google's network.
  • Meta pixel: measures visits and purchases from ads on Facebook and Instagram, and helps show our ads there.
  • Pinterest tag: the same for ads on Pinterest.
  • Klaviyo: recognizes returning visitors who have given us their email address, so the emails we send can reflect what they viewed.
  • GoAffPro: remembers for 90 days which affiliate referred you, so they can be credited for a purchase.

How Long Cookies Last

Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Others last longer so we can recognize a return visit: our own visitor identifier lasts up to 24 months, advertising and campaign identifiers up to 90 days, and the GoAffPro referral cookie 90 days. Third-party cookies follow the retention periods of the company that sets them.

Your Privacy Rights

California and other US states. Some of the advertising technologies above may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as targeted advertising, under state law. See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page to opt out, including through an authorized agent.

Canada. You have rights under PIPEDA and, in Quebec, Law 25, including the right to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw consent to non-essential tracking. Contact us using the details below.

Other places. If you believe data protection law where you live applies to us, contact us and we will respond. International transfers are described in our Privacy Policy.
