The honest truth about HUUM
Early DROP models had an issue where heating elements would bend over time, causing premature failures within 1-2 years. HUUM addressed this with a protective plate redesign. Since the fix, feedback has been very positive.

The honest truth about Harvia
Their older heaters were famously indestructible — some owners report 20+ years of service. However, some newer KIP models have shown earlier-than-expected element wear. The 75-year track record is real, but don't assume zero maintenance.

The honest truth about Saunum
Saunum is the newest brand of the three. Their air circulation technology is genuinely innovative and the difference in heat distribution is noticeable. However, their max temperature is 194°F — if you want that 230°F ceiling, you need HUUM.
The salt therapy feature is a nice bonus, but it's not a replacement for dedicated halotherapy. The Himalayan salt chamber adds trace minerals to the air — think of it as a wellness perk, not a medical treatment.
