Assembly & Installation

Setting up the Baltic

There is nothing to build: the Baltic arrives assembled. Set it on a level, solid base, assemble the steps, tighten the fittings the manual shows, and fill it.

Tools the manual asks for: an adjustable wrench and a pipe wrench.

Outdoor use, winter and care

Dundalk LeisureCraft says its cold plunge tubs and chillers are designed for outdoor use.

In freezing weather Dundalk LeisureCraft says to follow each chiller's own winter limits. Its Coldture installation manual says the Coldture chiller must be used and stored above 32°F (0°C) to prevent damage, and Dundalk says to disconnect the Penguin chiller and drain it completely when the air is at or below freezing. If the plunge will not be used in freezing weather, Dundalk says to drain the tub, chiller, hoses and filters completely and to store the chiller in a temperature-controlled place when required.

Care schedule: as a general guideline, Dundalk LeisureCraft says to inspect the filter about every 1–2 weeks and replace the cartridge about every 1–3 months. For the water, its baseline is a complete drain, clean and refill about once a month, adjusted to how much the plunge is used; its cold plunge guidelines say to change the water every 1–2 weeks if no sanitizer is used.

Electrical

Only the chiller needs power: a 110–120 V outlet.

Coldture lists its PRO water chiller with a temperature range of 3°C to 40°C (37°F to 104°F), and Dundalk lists the Penguin chiller as cooling the water down to 37°F.

How is the Dundalk Baltic Plunge Tub delivered?

The Baltic ships assembled on a skid by LTL freight, delivered to the curb or the end of the driveway. Deliveries are usually made with an 18-wheel truck, so check it can reach your street. The carrier books a delivery appointment and does not unload, so arrange help for the 108-lb skid. At 40" long the skid is under Dundalk's 92" limit, so the carrier may be able to use a lift gate to help lower it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people fit in the Baltic Plunge Tub?

It is a single-person plunge: 32 inches across inside and 40-3/4 inches deep, holding 132 gallons.

What are the Baltic Plunge Tub's exterior dimensions, and how much space do I need?

Taken from Dundalk's dimensioned product drawing, the Baltic Plunge Tub measures 37-1/2" exterior diameter x 43-3/4" high.

Does the Baltic Plunge Tub need power?

Only if you add the chiller, which runs from a standard 110 to 120 volt outlet. Without one, Dundalk suggests keeping the water cold with ice. In freezing weather, Dundalk LeisureCraft says to follow each chiller's own winter limits: its Coldture installation manual says to use and store the Coldture chiller above 32°F (0°C), it says to disconnect and drain the Penguin when the air is at or below freezing, and it says to drain the tub, chiller, hoses and filters completely if the plunge will not be used.

What is the Baltic Plunge Tub made from?

Eastern White Cedar outside, held by stainless steel bands, with an HDPE plastic liner and molded-in bench inside.

Does the Baltic Plunge Tub need assembly?

No — it ships assembled and ready to use. Only the steps are put together on site, and the manual's only tools are an adjustable wrench and a pipe wrench for the fittings.

What does the Baltic Plunge Tub need to stand on?

A level, solid base able to carry it full — Its 132 gallons of water weigh about 1,100 lbs, so a full tub weighs roughly 1,200 lbs before anyone gets in.

What warranty comes with the Baltic Plunge Tub?

Dundalk covers the products it designs and manufactures with a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. The chiller carries its own maker's warranty.

How is the Baltic Plunge Tub delivered, and can I unload it myself?

It ships by LTL freight on a skid measuring 40 by 40 by 55 inches, weighing 108 lbs, and is delivered to the curb or the end of the driveway by appointment, usually on an 18-wheel truck. The carrier does not unload, so arrange help to lift the 108-lb package off the truck. At under 92 inches long, the carrier may be able to use a lift gate. If the crate arrives damaged, you can still accept it: photograph the damage, note it on the Bill of Lading, and contact us straight away.

General Topture Questions

Where are you located, and where do you ship from?

Topture is an online retailer serving customers in the contiguous United States. The company is Topture LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and its registered business address is 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Orders ship from manufacturer and distributor warehouses in the U.S. and Canada, and some products ship directly from the manufacturer in Europe. Each product page shows its estimated delivery time.

How much is shipping?

Orders over $200 ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 carry a small shipping fee.

Two exceptions: SaunaLife and ThermaSol products carry a freight charge at any order value, and sauna stones ordered without a heater ship at $60 per box because of their weight.

Every charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Do you provide financing?

Absolutely! To view your financing offer, simply select Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at Step 3 of checkout.

You'll need to enter a debit card to receive your offer, but don’t worry—you can still back out before completing the purchase.

How long will it take for my items to arrive?

If your order is in stock, most orders ship within 2–7 business days of purchase. Transit time then depends on the distance from the warehouse and, for freight, on booking a delivery appointment.

For custom, pre-order or made-to-order items, the estimated delivery time frame is listed on the product page. Delivery dates are estimates, so please don't book installation labor until your order has arrived and been inspected.

What happens after I place my order?

As soon as you place your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details—be sure to keep it for your records. Once your order ships, you'll receive another email with tracking information.

For freight deliveries, the carrier will call or text you to schedule an appointment once the shipment reaches their local terminal. Someone needs to be there to inspect the shipment and sign for it. Smaller parcels arrive by UPS or FedEx without an appointment.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Products purchased through Topture include the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. You’ll find the warranty details for each product under the "Warranty" tab on its product page, and we help with troubleshooting and warranty coordination if an issue comes up.

Do you have a showroom?

We don’t have a showroom — we sell online. Our team is available by phone, email and chat to help you compare models, sizes and heaters, and we can send dimensions, installation manuals and electrical requirements before you buy.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout the 48 contiguous states, with curbside freight delivery for large items. Free shipping and standard rates apply there only. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. islands and Canada are quoted separately, depending on the brand and model. We can't ship freight or oversized items to P.O. boxes.

Do you ship internationally?

International Shipping

For many products, yes, including to Canada, by custom quote. Email contact@topture.com with the product and your address before you order; availability and cost depend on the brand and model. Any duties, taxes and customs fees are your responsibility.
