SunRay Saunas Warranty

This warranty covers all SunRay branded saunas purchased directly from SunRay Saunas or any of its authorized affiliates. This warranty is non-transferable.

Structural Warranty — 7 Years

SunRay warrants the sauna structure against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for 7 years from the date of purchase.

What's covered:

• Wooden sauna panels, flooring, ceiling, and glass
• Replacement parts necessary for repair
• If a structural defect cannot be remedied by a replacement part, SunRay may send a full replacement sauna at its sole discretion

Note: Surface cracks in the wood and minor blemishes are normal characteristics of natural wood and are not considered defects.

Parts & Electronics Warranty — 1 Year

All sauna parts, including the heater and electrical components, are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase.

• Covers replacement parts only
• Labor costs for replacing a part are not covered

Warranty Terms

• Applies to the original customer at the original delivery address only

• Customers must have written consent from SunRay before proceeding with any warranty repair to be reimbursed

• SunRay has sole responsibility for determining the cause and nature of any warranty claim

• If a replacement sauna is provided, the customer is responsible for assembly/installation costs of the new unit

What Is NOT Covered

This warranty is voided if the sauna has been subjected to:

• Alteration, neglect, misuse, or abuse
• Freight damage caused by the carrier
• Accidents or acts of God
• Installation, operation, or maintenance not in accordance with the owner's manual
• Commercial use — saunas used in a commercial setting are excluded from all warranty coverage

Disclaimers

• SunRay shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use or cost of removal
• Liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price
• Warranty coverage begins on the original date of purchase and does not extend beyond the stated periods for any reason

Electrical Requirements

Indoor traditional saunas require a dedicated 240V circuit in order to accommodate the high heat output of the heater. Please reference the product specification sheet to determine the specific requirements for your sauna.

Ventilation Requirements

Indoor traditional saunas are equipped with an air vent in the ceiling. This air vent is designed to help circulate heat throughout the sauna during the heat-up phase and to allow moisture to leave the sauna if you are adding humidity and using it as a steam sauna. The sauna cabin air vent also allows you to lower the sauna temperature without opening the door if the temperature inside the sauna becomes too hot.

Maximum Temperature

Our indoor traditional saunas have a maximum operating temperature of 170 degrees Fahrenheit. The normal operating range is 160-170 degrees Fahrenheit.

Traditional Sauna Shipping

All traditional saunas are shipped via truck freight with curbside and lift-gate delivery service unless otherwise specified. Our traditional saunas and steam saunas are shipped on a wooden pallet with removable bracing to protect the sauna boxes. Please contact us if you have special requirements for delivery. The trucking company will call you to schedule a delivery appointment.

Sauna Warranty

All home saunas carry a 7-year structural warranty and 1-year parts warranty. All home sauna parts, including electronic parts and the electric heater, are guaranteed for 1 year against defects.

Electrical Connection

Indoor traditional saunas for the home come with a power cord attached to the heater. The power cord does not have a plug. It is designed to be hard-wired into a junction box or you can put a plug on the end of the power cord. Please note that the power requirements differ by sauna model. Consult your traditional sauna user manual for the specific power requirements.

Assembly and Installation

An indoor traditional sauna is easily assembled by two adults. The typical assembly time is 1 hour. No special tools are required for the sauna to be assembled.

Returns and Cancellations

We allow returns of non-clearance saunas within 90 days of receipt of purchase if the home sauna kit is in new and resalable condition. The original and return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Traditional home sauna kits that are returned with damage or not in new and resalable condition will incur a 15% inspection and restock fee.

Cleaning Your Home Sauna

Your home sauna should be cleaned a minimum of every 3-4 months or more frequently depending on usage. To clean the interior of your home sauna, use a mixture of baking soda and water (3 teaspoons baking soda to 1 gallon of warm water). Using a clean towel, wipe down the interior of the sauna, focusing on where sweat accumulates. Let the area dry with the sauna door open. Use a standard ammonia-based glass cleaner to clean the sauna doors and windows.

Traditional Sauna Origin

SunRay traditional sauna cabins are constructed from Hemlock or Cedar wood which is imported from Canada. Our manufacturing facility is in China. Our distribution facility is in the United States. All warranty claims are handled by SunRay Saunas based in Richmond, VA.

On each sauna product page of our website, there is a specification sheet you can download. The specification sheet will provide you with all the details of the home sauna kit, including the power requirements.

Placing an Indoor Sauna Outdoors

Our indoor traditional saunas are not rated for outdoor use. They have an open top that is not protected from the elements. If you place the indoor sauna outdoors, it must be covered and protected from the elements. Indoor saunas that are placed outdoors will not be covered under our sauna warranty.

Sauna Heating Time

The average heating time for traditional home saunas ranges between 30-45 minutes depending on the room temperature, size of the sauna, and the heater type.

Ceiling Clearance

You need at least 3-4 inches between the top of the home sauna and the ceiling. This allows the electrical components on the top of the sauna to receive the appropriate amount of airflow.

Sauna Stones

Our indoor traditional saunas come with heater stones that sit on top of the heater elements. The heater stones are used to help radiate heat throughout the sauna and can be used to create humidity inside the sauna. DO NOT pour excess water on the heater stones as it will cause damage to the heater. To create humidity in the sauna, simply drizzle a small amount of water over the stones once they are hot.

Sauna Heater Placement

All indoor traditional saunas are equipped with either a wall mounting bracket or cradle for the heater to sit in. DO NOT place the sauna heater directly on the floor as it could become a fire hazard. The sauna must be elevated off the floor to create airflow through the heating elements.

Sauna Lighting

All indoor traditional saunas come with ambient dome lighting. Saunas with dome lighting can be connected to the heater so that the light turns off when the heater turns off. Alternatively, you can wire the lighting separately on its own switch. Consult your sauna heating wiring guide for instructions on how to wire your sauna light into the heater.

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. (please allow a few hours for this to come through in some cases) This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. 

As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. 

If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at contact@topture.com

No Shipping outside the USA. (Some exceptions apply - if the website permits you to check out and enter your shipping address, you will receive your order. Some products in particular are available in Canada).

Shipping Options

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is always completely free! This option usually takes between 5-15 days to arrive at your doorstep, after you have submitted your order.

Threshold Shipping: This involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area. 

Double-Check Your Address

To ensure that your package is properly delivered and that you receive your package within the time frames we advertise, please make sure that your address is correctly entered and includes all relevant and/or required information. The use of correct
abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) is critical for ensuring timely delivery. We do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect or incorrectly entered at the time of purchase or not reachable by an 18-wheeler for heavy items without making an indication of that at the point of purchase.

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos of damage, box and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage to contact@topture.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures, or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours.
