What are HUUM chimney extension pipes?
HUUM chimney extension pipes are single-wall and double-wall pipe sections, each 0.25 m (9.8 in), 0.5 m (19.7 in) or 1.0 m (39.4 in) long, that lengthen a HUUM chimney kit when the chimney has to be longer than the kit, for example to reach the height your local fire-safety regulations require. They are made to extend HUUM's chimney kits for its HIVE Wood and HIVE Flow wood-burning stoves.
Which extension pipe do I need?
Use single-wall pipes (HK017) inside the sauna, between the stove and the double-wall section, as HUUM's chimney kits do; use double-wall pipes (HK004) where the chimney passes through the ceiling or wall and outside. HUUM's chimney-set sheets keep single-wall parts at least 19.7 in (500 mm) and double-wall parts at least 2 in (50 mm) from combustible materials.
Which chimney kits do they extend?
Topture offers the pipes as optional extensions with the HUUM flat-or-curved-roof kit (H3101) and Thru-Angled Ceiling kit (H3100). HUUM's Thru-Wall kit (H3102) and Thru-Wall Backside Connection kit (H310202) are built from the same 0.25 m, 0.5 m and 1.0 m single-wall and double-wall sections. Only a specialist may connect a stove to its chimney, according to HUUM's stove manuals.
