What is the Harvia WL300PC chimney cover?
The Harvia WL300PC is a chrome-steel stone cage that goes around the smoke pipe above a Harvia Cilindro wood stove, 11.4" (290 mm) across and 20.0" (508 mm) tall. Filled with stones, it covers the smoke pipe, so the pipe can stand closer to a combustible wall. Harvia's Cilindro manual says it suits both straight and angled corner smoke pipes.
How many stones does the Harvia WL300PC need?
The Harvia WL300PC takes 88 lb (40 kg) of 4–6" (10–15 cm) stones, which is two 44 lb boxes of Harvia AC3020, sold separately; one box is not enough, and an underfilled cover does not shield the smoke pipe.
Which stoves does the Harvia WL300PC fit?
The Harvia WL300PC fits the Harvia Cilindro 16 and the Harvia Cilindro 20, on a smoke pipe 4.5" (115 mm) across. The Legend stoves use the Harvia WL300 smoke-pipe cover instead.
How close to the wall can the smoke pipe be with the WL300PC?
With the Harvia WL300PC filled with stones, Harvia's instructions allow 6.5" (165 mm) from the cover to a combustible wall and 2.0" (50 mm) to a non-combustible wall; an unprotected smoke pipe needs 19.7" (500 mm).
