California Proposition 65 Notice

What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a California law that requires businesses to provide warnings when products contain chemicals listed by the State of California as known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list currently includes over 900 chemicals.
Why am I seeing this warning?
Many common household products — including appliances, electronics, furniture, and building materials — contain trace amounts of listed chemicals. Saunas, sauna heaters, steam showers, and other wellness products may contain materials such as nickel, lead, or cadmium in electrical components, heating elements, or hardware. A Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is unsafe or in violation of any safety standard. It means the product may contain one or more of the listed chemicals.
Does this apply to all your products?
We display this warning across our product catalog as a precaution. The brands we carry — including Finnmark, HUUM, Harvia, SaunaLife, Dundalk Leisurecraft, and others — are established manufacturers that comply with applicable safety standards. If you have questions about specific materials or chemicals in a product, contact us at contact@topture.com or call (833) 419-1774 and we can connect you with the manufacturer for detailed information.
