The SaunaLife Titan SL1 Heat Shield is an optional stainless-steel shield for the SaunaLife Titan SL1 propane sauna heater. It curves around the back of the Titan's stone basket, attaches with integrated clips and limits the radiant heat reaching the wall behind it. In a sauna cabin, fitting it reduces the Titan's required side and rear clearance from 6" to 4".

How much space does the Titan SL1 Heat Shield save?

In a sauna cabin, the heat shield reduces the Titan SL1's left, right and rear clearances from 6" to 4", measured from the outside of the stone basket. The front clearance stays at 16" and the ceiling clearance at 50". The shield itself must stay at least 1" from any wall or combustible surface and must never touch or be attached to combustible material. In a SaunaTrekker tent the heat shield does not change the clearances: the 6" side, 6" rear and 16" front distances apply with or without it.

What does the heat shield change about the Titan SL1's footprint?

With the heat shield fitted, the Titan SL1 measures 16.59" W × 21.29" D × 27" H, compared with 13.07" W × 19.57" D without it, per SaunaLife's manual. The floor, ventilation and propane line requirements are the same with or without the shield.

What does the SaunaLife Titan SL1 Heat Shield do?
The heat shield is a curved stainless-steel panel that clips around the back of the Titan SL1's stone basket and limits the radiant heat reaching the wall behind it. In a sauna cabin it reduces the heater's required side and rear clearance from 6 inches to 4 inches.
Does the heat shield reduce clearances in a SaunaTrekker tent?
No. SaunaLife's manual says the SaunaTrekker clearances of 6 inches at the sides and rear and 16 inches at the front apply with or without the heat shield. The reduction to 4 inches applies only in a sauna cabin.
How close to the wall can the heat shield be?
Keep at least 1 inch between the heat shield and any wall or combustible surface. SaunaLife's manual says the shield must never touch or be attached directly to combustible material.
Does the Titan SL1 Heat Shield fit other sauna heaters?
No. The heat shield is designed for the SaunaLife Titan SL1 gas sauna heater and attaches to its stone basket with integrated clips.

Orders over $200 ship free within the continental United States. Orders under $200 carry a small shipping fee.

Two exceptions: SaunaLife and ThermaSol products carry a freight charge at any order value, and sauna stones ordered without a heater ship at $60 per box because of their weight.

Every charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Do you provide financing?

Absolutely! To view your financing offer, simply select Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at Step 3 of checkout.

You'll need to enter a debit card to receive your offer, but don’t worry—you can still back out before completing the purchase.

How long will it take for my items to arrive?

If your order is in stock, most orders ship within 2–7 business days of purchase. Transit time then depends on the distance from the warehouse and, for freight, on booking a delivery appointment.

For custom, pre-order or made-to-order items, the estimated delivery time frame is listed on the product page. Delivery dates are estimates, so please don't book installation labor until your order has arrived and been inspected.

What happens after I place my order?

As soon as you place your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details—be sure to keep it for your records. Once your order ships, you'll receive another email with tracking information.

For freight deliveries, the carrier will call or text you to schedule an appointment once the shipment reaches their local terminal. Someone needs to be there to inspect the shipment and sign for it. Smaller parcels arrive by UPS or FedEx without an appointment.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Products purchased through Topture include the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Do you have a showroom?
