We thought about buying a sauna for years and finally did. We absolutely love it, especially in the winter. It’s incredibly easy to assemble with two people the whole family uses it.

Ordered this sauna fall 2024 and we love it. No better feeling during a Minnesota winter. Lastly, I have to mention the customer service for this purchase has been like no other. Any questions or requests I had were addressed immediately by Topture. I got more than I expected from them and have already recommended them to several people looking for saunas. SO if you're thinking about it, JUST DO IT already..

    STILL UNSURE?

    Frequently Asked Questions

Where are Dundalk Leisurecraft saunas made?
Every Dundalk Leisurecraft sauna is hand-built in Dundalk, Ontario, Canada. The wood is sourced regionally, the kits are cut and pre-assembled in the same workshop, and they ship direct from that workshop to customers across the US and Canada. There's no overseas factory in the supply chain.
What wood are Dundalk saunas made from?
Every Dundalk outdoor sauna in this collection is built from Eastern White Cedar. Eastern White Cedar is naturally rot-resistant, dimensionally stable through freeze-thaw cycles, and contains no toxic resins that off-gas under heat. The cedar lumber is solid 1.5 inches thick on cabin and barrel models — not laminated panels.
What's the warranty on a Dundalk sauna?
Dundalk Leisurecraft includes a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty on the sauna structure when purchased through an authorized dealer. Topture is an authorized Dundalk dealer — your warranty is preserved in full. Warranties get voided when the sauna is bought through a non-authorized reseller, so always confirm dealer status before placing an order with any retailer.
How long does it take to assemble a Dundalk sauna?
Two people with basic tools can typically assemble a Dundalk barrel or cabin sauna in a weekend. Pods like the Luna and MiniPOD are slightly faster. Every kit ships with pre-cut, pre-assembled wall sections, a parts manifest, and printed instructions. Electrical wiring for the heater is a separate step that requires a licensed electrician.
Which heaters work with Dundalk saunas?
Both electric and wood-burning heaters are compatible with every Dundalk model. Most cabin and barrel saunas pair with an 8kW electric heater (Harvia KIP, HUUM Drop, or similar) on a dedicated 240V circuit. The Harvia M3 is the standard wood-burning pairing. Each Dundalk product page lists verified heater options including controller and stone requirements.
What's the difference between Dundalk's barrel, cabin, and pod saunas?
Barrel saunas (Harmony, Serenity, Tranquility, Elation) heat fastest because of the smaller air volume and have a traditional aesthetic. Cabin saunas (Georgian, Granby) have flat walls and a flat floor, giving you the most usable interior space and full two-tier bench layouts. Pod saunas (Luna, MiniPOD) have angled walls and large glass doors for a modern architectural look in a smaller footprint.
Do any Dundalk saunas come with a changing room or porch?
Yes. The Georgian Cabin is available in three configurations: standard (CTC88W), with a covered porch (CTC88PW), and with a built-in changeroom (CTC88CW). Several barrel models — Serenity MP and Tranquility MP — also include a porch variant. The changeroom variant adds a separate enclosed space for towels, robes, and clothes outside the heated cabin.
Do Dundalk saunas hold up in cold or wet climates?
Yes. Eastern White Cedar is the same wood species used in Canadian sauna construction for generations and is dimensionally stable through freeze-thaw cycles. Dundalk saunas are designed and built in Ontario for year-round outdoor use. Many Topture customers in northern states and Canada use their Dundalk saunas through full winters with no maintenance issues beyond clearing snow off cabin roofs.
What foundation does a Dundalk outdoor sauna need?
A flat, level, and solid base. The three standard options are a 4-inch concrete pad (most durable), 4 to 6 inches of compacted crushed gravel (best drainage, easier DIY), or a deck rated for the sauna's loaded weight including occupants. An uneven base is the single most common cause of door alignment problems on outdoor saunas, so this step is worth getting right.
