Shipping policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with our Refund Policy and Warranty & Product Disclaimers. Because of the size, weight and value of what we ship, freight delivery carries specific requirements and responsibilities on your side. Please read this before you order — particularly Section 8, which determines whether a damage claim can be paid.

1. Shipping Rates

Sauna heaters and heater packages ship free within the contiguous United States, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Saunas, cold plunges, hot tubs, steam showers and other large or freight-shipped items carry a shipping fee. These fees are set by the manufacturer, vary by model and destination, and are displayed at checkout before you pay. They cover standard curbside delivery only — see Section 5 for what that includes and Section 12 for what it does not.

Orders under $200 are subject to a small-order shipping fee, shown at checkout.

Orders containing only sauna stones, without a heater, are not eligible for free shipping.

Every shipping charge that applies to your order is calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. If you see a freight cost you did not expect, contact us before completing the order and we will explain it.

2. Shipping Zones

Free heater shipping and standard freight rates apply to the 48 contiguous states.

Free heater shipping and our standard freight rates do not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States Virgin Islands, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Friday Harbor, Orcas Island, or any other island within the United States, nor to international destinations including Canada.

We can often prepare a custom shipping quote for these destinations — email contact@topture.com before placing your order. We will not accept returns for shipments sent outside our normal shipping range. In rare cases a freight carrier will refuse to serve a location, in which case we will refund your order in full.

Remote or hard-to-reach areas within the contiguous states may incur additional shipping fees. If that applies to your address, we will contact you to confirm any additional charge before shipping.

We cannot ship freight or oversized items to P.O. boxes.

3. Order Processing and Tracking

Most orders ship within 2 to 7 business days of purchase, provided the unit is in stock. Custom-built and made-to-order products require additional lead time, which varies by item. The approximate delivery timeframe for each model is listed on its product page.

We aim to send tracking information within 24 hours of shipment, though this can vary by carrier.

Estimated ship and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on stock availability, carrier scheduling, weather and other factors outside our control. Delays do not entitle you to cancel an order or receive a refund, and we are not liable for costs you incur in reliance on an estimated date — including electrician bookings, contractor scheduling, crane or forklift rental, or event planning.

Do not schedule installation labor until your unit has been delivered and inspected. If an order is delayed more than 30 days past its estimated delivery date, contact us at contact@topture.com and we will chase it with the carrier and the manufacturer.

4. Parcel Delivery

Smaller items — electric sauna heaters, accessories, red light devices and replacement parts — usually ship via UPS or FedEx. We choose the carrier for your order.

A signature is generally not required. Please monitor your tracking information and make sure the delivery location is secure. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier confirms delivery.

Once an order is with the carrier we cannot change the shipping address or coordinate delivery times. If a problem arises, we will take it up with the carrier on your behalf.

5. Freight Delivery for Large Items

Saunas, stoves, cold plunges and hot tubs ship by freight. This works differently from parcel delivery and we want you prepared for it.

  • The tracking number we provide shows estimated arrival at the freight company's local depot, not at your address.
  • A delivery appointment is required for the final leg.
  • An adult aged 18 or over must be present to verify the piece count and sign the Bill of Lading.
  • Standard freight delivery is curbside. The driver places the shipment at the curb or the end of your driveway. Drivers are not permitted to move freight up driveways or stairs, or into a garage, yard or home. White-glove service is available on select saunas — see Section 12.
  • Unless white-glove service has been arranged, you are responsible for moving the shipment from the curb to its final location.
  • Liftgate service is available on most shipments, but not on oversized models — see Section 6.
  • Risk of loss passes to you on delivery and signature of the Bill of Lading.

6. Oversized Saunas — Customer Unloading Required

This applies to larger units, including many Dundalk LeisureCraft models. These ship in crates longer than 92 inches, weighing between 800 and 1,600 pounds, which exceeds what a liftgate can handle. Delivery is made to the curb by a full-size 18-wheeler, roughly 70 feet in length.

The freight company will not unload the sauna from the truck. You must arrange unloading equipment in advance:

  • A forklift with extended forks — at least 8 feet, rated for the crate weight. This is the most common solution.
  • A tilt tow truck.
  • A crane or rigging crew for the largest units.

Manual unloading by a crew is occasionally permitted but we discourage it — these crates are heavy enough to cause serious injury and property damage, and most carriers will not allow it for liability reasons.

Have your equipment booked and on site for the delivery window. A truck that cannot be unloaded within the driver's allotted time may leave, and re-delivery and storage fees are your responsibility.

7. Sauna Kit and Pre-Assembled Deliveries

Sauna kits ship on pallets by LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) or flatbed. LTL is used for smaller and mid-sized kits, which share truck space with other shipments but are securely packed and crated. Flatbed is used for larger cabins that need more space and carry more weight.

Pre-assembled saunas arrive on a pallet in protective packaging and usually require flatbed delivery. You are responsible for offloading the unit with a forklift or crane. The driver's role is limited to bringing it curbside.

8. Scheduling Your Freight Delivery

When your shipment reaches the local terminal, the freight company will reach out — by call or text — using the phone number on your order. Arranging the appointment is your responsibility, and you will be offered available time slots. Failing to schedule promptly may result in storage fees charged to you.

Delivery windows are typically 2 to 4 hours. Be available for the full window and ready to sign.

9. Site Access — Tell Us Before You Order

Please raise any concern about access to your property before you place your order, at contact@topture.com. It avoids delays, frustration and real cost.

Tell us if any of the following apply:

  • An 18-wheeler cannot reach or turn around at your address
  • Narrow roads, steep inclines, sharp turns, or low-hanging branches or wires
  • Bridge weight limits, truck height restrictions, or seasonal road restrictions
  • Gates, private roads, or homeowners association access rules
  • Delivery to an island, or requiring a ferry, train, plane or additional courier leg

Where access is limited we can often arrange for you to meet the carrier at an alternate location or collect the shipment from the local terminal. Any special service, re-delivery, storage or auxiliary charge that arises from an access problem discovered at the time of delivery is your responsibility.

10. Inspection and Damage Claims — Read Before Your Delivery

All shipments are insured, but a claim can only be paid if the shipment was inspected and documented correctly at delivery. Signing a clean delivery receipt can eliminate your ability to recover. This section is the most important part of this policy.

10.1 While the driver is still there

  1. Check the piece count. Confirm the number of pieces and pallets matches the Bill of Lading before you sign anything.
  2. Inspect the outside of the shipment — crate, pallet, shrink wrap, boxes — for any sign of damage.
  3. If you see no damage, sign the Bill of Lading with the words "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" next to your signature. This single step preserves your ability to claim for damage found later, and it costs you nothing.
  4. If you see damage, write the specific damage on the Bill of Lading before signing — for example "crushed corner on crate 2," "torn shrink wrap with visible dent," "pallet broken on left side." General notes like "damaged" are much weaker than specifics.
  5. Photograph everything — the damage, the packaging, and the shipment on the truck if you can. Photograph or copy the signed Bill of Lading.
  6. Email the photos and documentation to contact@topture.com.

10.2 Do not refuse delivery for minor damage

Cosmetic damage to packaging, or a damaged part we can replace, is not a reason to refuse the shipment. Note it on the Bill of Lading and accept the delivery — we resolve most of these with replacement parts at no cost to you, and refusing sends your sauna on a round trip that delays you by weeks.

Refuse delivery only if the product itself is catastrophically damaged and clearly unusable. If you are unsure, call us at (833) 419-1774 while the driver is still there and we will help you decide.

10.3 Reporting windows

  • Visible damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery, and reported to us with photos within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Concealed damage — damage found after unpacking — must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, with detailed photos of the damage and of all original packaging, plus your order number.
  • Missing items or shortages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number, a list of what is missing, and photos of the outer packaging and shipping labels.

Claims filed after these windows will be denied. Inspect your shipment the day it arrives.

10.4 Keep your packaging

Retain all boxes, crating, packaging and pallets until your claim is resolved or your return window has closed. The carrier may require an inspection, and returns and exchanges require the original packaging.

11. Incorrect Addresses and Failed Deliveries

If an item ships and is returned because of an incorrect address, you are responsible for shipping costs in both directions.

If a freight shipment is returned because the carrier could not reach your address, or because appointments were not scheduled or kept, this is treated as a return and is subject to our Refund Policy, including any restocking fee.

12. White-Glove Delivery and Installation

White-glove delivery and installation is available on select saunas. Where it is offered for a model, it is shown on that product page. It must be arranged and paid for before your order ships, so contact us at contact@topture.com to confirm availability, coverage in your area and pricing before you order — it cannot be added once the shipment is with the carrier.

White-glove service does not include electrical or plumbing connections. Those must always be completed by a licensed, certified and insured professional, regardless of what delivery service you choose. See our Warranty & Product Disclaimers for the full installation requirements.

12.1 What standard curbside delivery does not include

Unless white-glove service has been arranged for your order, freight delivery is curbside and does not include unloading assistance, moving the item to a room or yard, unpacking, packaging or debris removal, assembly, or installation.

If you need help finding a professional, see our installer directory — note that all listed installers are independent contractors whom we neither employ nor guarantee.

13. Customs and Import Duties

While we can prepare custom shipping quotes to destinations outside the lower 48 states, any customs fees, import duties, taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country or territory are your responsibility. These are not included in any shipping charge, and Topture does not cover costs related to customs clearance.

By placing such an order you accept responsibility for any additional charges applied during customs on arrival. These charges are outside our control and vary by local regulation, product type and declared value. If you have concerns, consult your local customs office before completing your purchase.

14. Shipping or Moving Products Outside the United States

Manufacturer warranties on the products we sell are written for use within the United States. Shipping a product outside the US, or moving it out of the country yourself after taking delivery at a US address, will in most cases void the manufacturer's warranty — different voltage standards, regulatory requirements and handling conditions apply, and manufacturers generally will not support units taken abroad.

Warranty terms are set by each manufacturer, not by Topture, so the specific consequences depend on the brand. If you are considering this, contact us before you order and we will confirm the position with the manufacturer in writing.

15. Manufacturer Policies

Where this policy is silent on a shipping question, or where clarification is needed, the relevant manufacturer's shipping and returns policy applies. This does not override our Terms of Service, which govern in the event of a conflict between our own policies.

By placing an order with Topture you accept this Shipping Policy and our Refund Policy.
