It releases a steady supply of steam throughout a sauna session, for a softer and more humid heat than dry stones alone, and it keeps a reserve of hot water on hand for washing or rinsing afterwards. SaunaLife positions it for outdoor, off-grid and remote saunas, where there is often no other hot water supply.
